We believe that God providentially called us here to be part of His ministry, to connect with fellow believers and to share His love with others. We are endeavoring to be Christians in the context of the time we perceive it to be presently.
“For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Our Mission
There are two questions that inform our mission:
1. What time is it?
2. What are we supposed to be doing?
Manuel is an attorney, his work is to marshal and examine evidence and to make evidenced based arguments. The evidence is overwhelmingly compelling that we are living in a remarkable and pivotal moment in history.
We accepted the calling to run the bookstore with the object of purveying the everlasting gospel of Revelation 14 in the context of the times we live in; we are deeply impressed by Mordacai’s question to Esther: “who knows if you are called to the kingdom for such a time as this”.
We are told that the health reform work is the entering wedge to the Three Angel’s Message (CD 69) and the Three Angel’s Message is Christ our Righteousness in verity (RH April 1, 1890) and we believe that the way back to Eden is through the Sanctuary; of course, all of these messages are founded on God’s Word.

Our Story
In early 2022, we accepted God's call into this ministry to run the Christian Book and Nutrition Center. Manuel is an attorney in San Diego and Denise is a teacher at San Diego Academy. Our daughter is a sophomore at Andrews University, studying to be a high school Bible teacher, and our son in a junior at San Diego Academy. We run a weekly "For Such a Time as This" Bible study which examines current events in the context of Bible prophecy. We also facilitate a back country connections meeting of families committed to living in the country and self reliance such as gardening, canning and preparing ourselves and others to not only be physically ready for Christ's return, but connected to Him. We believe it doesn't matter what you know or what you do if you don't know HIM, so a continual connection with God is foundational to all that we do. We daily ask God "what is my assignment today?" and have that question taped to the front door as a reminder to each of us to follow His will.
